Slottsvångsskolan, often referred to as Slottet, is a historic F-9 school located in the heart of Helsingborg. Here, the approximately 250 students are at the center of our work, which is based on the key concepts of Knowledge, Care, and Language, as these are the most important prerequisites for every student to develop as much as possible and achieve their goals. We aim to be a school that everyone can be proud to call their own.

The Music Primary School Synkopen is the school for everyone with an interest in music and has a national intake. Music creates a positive learning environment, enhances job satisfaction, and fosters a sense of community among students of different ages, making the atmosphere at the school familial and safe. We have about 250 students. Here, talents and skills are developed among students from preschool to ninth grade.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for an engaged and inspiring teacher in physical education and health for our students in F-9. The role primarily involves teaching grades F-9 in physical education and health, as well as shared mentorship for a class in the upper secondary level at Slottet.

We expect you to drive and develop your pedagogical work in a way that inspires students. The school operates based on research regarding language-developing methods, low-affective responses, Positive Behavioral Support in Schools, and Cooperative Learning. We have made some progress, and since we have much left to do, we believe it is important to ensure that we have fun together along the way.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach grades F-9 in physical education and health. It is an advantage if you are also qualified in other subjects. You are a teacher who enjoys helping all students understand and provides them with various strategies to believe in their abilities and develop their knowledge. You have a professional demeanor towards everyone you meet and find it easy to build relationships. The needs of the students come first for you. You care about others and stand up for the school's core values.

Since digital technology is a good tool for making learning accessible, it is also important that you have good digital skills. You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. You believe in the value of collegial learning, use assessment for learning to develop your teaching, and take responsibility for students' knowledge development. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
